IMG_3433.webp Got this truck today from a friend its a 99 ford f800 60' high ranger non o/c boom. 5.9 Cummins 6 speed with 2 speed rear, air brakes it was always well taken care of and boom is being inspected and recertified Thur which was part of deal. I am in market to replace my current forestry truck which is o/c for a newer rear Mount o/c. Couldn't pass up deal on this one he just bought a new 65' o/c. I got it to I can get a newer one. It needs a bucket liner if anyone knows where I can get one. I've never owned a high ranger anything I have to watch out for or issues with them. Thanks.

It was on before he changed his mind on a new truck then pull the plug on one last week i traded my log trailer for it. So now I have to buckets going to sell one or both if I find a nice rear Mount.

I can buy any truck out there on the market and have had most of them. I think the Hi-Ranger bucket truck you have there are one of the best tree trimming set ups ever made. I just bought another one last year . One owner supper low miles. Im going to try to find more before all thats left is junk. One of the most under rated trucks out there... Nice truck good luck stay safe.

Our old truck had that boom. Great design, being attached to the rear of the bucket. You'll notice all(?) newer booms attach to the side of the bucket. Not sure why. Side mount effectively makes the setup wider, worse for getting thru tight spots. Rear attachment also allows for easy work on both sides of the bucket. I'm constantly finding our side mount boom gets in the way.

Is Terex the only maker with a rear mounted bucket on the stick? If so that makes my future search a little narrower and more expensive. I still want a rear mounted elevator. :D
