26ft Pole Pruner

Thought I'd drop this here for anyone interested.

Some of you may remember me posting about a 26ft pole saw I bought last year. That one was just a saw, but I bought another one that has the pull rope pruner end, which is what I will be primarily using it for as I have the other one if I need a saw. Although it did come with a nice saw attactment that you could also use as a hand saw because it has a nice grip.

Have used it a few times already and works great! A little bendy as you get longer but once it's balanced it cuts pretty well. Not too heavy, and made of non-conductive material.

I don't remember but I think there was still one more attactment or two to make it a little longer then what it is in the picture here.

I need a pole saw like that. I was going to purchase Bartlett brand but it is double the price. If you’re satisfied with that one Chris, maybe that’s the better option. I’ve gotten away without having one doing trees part time for over a year so it’s not like I’m going to be using the snot out of it. I’d rather spend my money on the fancy climbing gear anyway.

Edit: Also, spend money on chainsaws as well. Rigging gear too. Climbing, rigging, and chainsaws. That’s where I’d rather spend the money.

Would recommend. Haven’t really tried using the saw blade yet. But pruner has worked out great!

This is what I’ve been using for a regular pole saw, total reach with blade should be somewhere around 25ft, but will be nice to have a backup as well. We have a smaller version of the Barnel as well that we sometimes use, so all in all we got a pretty solid arsenal of pole saws / pruners lol, which is great as we primarily do pruning work.
