I was born July 16 (first one) and my grandpa worked on the "towns" building and clean up after the explosions. He lived to 75 and died of a heart attack. Wild that he was exposed to so much radiation and never seemed to suffer any adverse affects.

Interesting video. I wonder how accurate it is.

Never the less, there are a lot of observations to be seen there.

But, I think it creates a lot of questions too.

I guess it sort of makes me wonder: Did we have a cold war by detonating these bombs to prove we have them? Sort of like, "Oh yeah! Look at this!" And the fact that we detonated the most, does that mean we won?

It is also difficult to not wonder if the amount of radiation is harmful to us with how much cancer we see in our country... (but, I usually blame that on unhealthy lifestyles).
