Hi Billy, Welcome to the Buzz. I'm glad to see the information for this event get posted. I'd like to volunteer to work secured footlock but I'm less than 100% certain that I can make it because of my work schedule. I'll know more as the date gets closer.

Climbers and Volunteers!!!! It's not too late!!! We still have plenty of slots for climbers and you can never have enough volunteers. Come on out to Memphis and enjoy what is to be another great SOTCC!

They should call this event the rumble on the river. The tcc site rivals Charlotte all the trees are real close so spectating will be easy and the mighty Mississippi is the back drop. The hotels are a five minute trolley ride with a little walk away, the night life is fantastic and less than five minutes walk from the hotel. some bars stay open until 3:00am and some till 5:00am. Lots of fun to be had. Lots of live music. bring some no-doze for your ride home. Just sayen'

Volunteers!!!! Climbers are signing up and we need you to do the same. Please send in your information so we can start assigning people to events.

Climbers!!!! Spots are still available. Sign up today!

Out of Chapter Climbers!!!! We have 1 Out of Chapter climber signed up and he needs competition for the top "Out of Chapter Climber". Come out and join us. This could be a great prep for your Chapter TCC or the NATCC.

Chapter only registration closed March 1. Open registration continues until the Comp, but sign up early to reserve your spot. Climbers, Techs and Judges should contact Bully for more info.

The Southern Chapter TCC is this weekend!!! We still have spots avalible for climbers and as always plenty of spots for volunteers. Come on out and be a part of what will be a great event!

Quick update. I went to the site today and it's wet. There's rain in the forecast so I can't see getting a bucket truck in there. please be ready to manually access everything. We're working on a Wraptor for the work climb...no promises. Please don't get your throwlines stuck. We'll burn that bridge when we get to it.
Pruning and set up was going to be Thursday but most of the heavy pruning has been done so set up is Friday morning 7am. Confirmed.
All the cool cats (ok most of them) are going to be there so be ready to have a blast!

I'll have a better idea the kind of volunteers tomorrow.
Quick update: Winningham lined up a Wraptor. Billy lined up a manlift. We'll know where they're being applied on Friday.
The weather is supposed to get ugly so we're going to start working on set up tomorrow. I hope we don't have to make it up.
