1991 High Ranger 5HA 55'

I just bought a 1991 Internation 4600 with a High Ranger 55' boom. It was making a popping noise at about 50' sounded like the leveling cables slapping against the inside of the boom. Ive been going through it and found leveling couplings with loose nylock nuts and found the hold back cable needed to be tightend .What else should I be on the look out for ? All Ive ever ran was new stuff and I wanna know Im safe up there .
