Only by shear luck did I stumble on this issue is an old pile of magazines while junking with my beautiful wife, Liz. Everyone in the store looked when I announced "take a look of this foldout". No doubt most expected some girlie picture was in my hands but this four page foldout held the King of Trees taken in 1916. Back then you traveled via mule train, felled trees with a two man whip saw and hundreds died harvesting not in the forests but drowned in the log pool. Until I can get a better image I offer this to all tree addicts to have a little taste of times gone by.
