18 days left \'til the Wedding...

Only 18 days left until my wedding. I'm not nervous yet. I believe it was Alfred E. Nueman that said "What, Me Worry?"

You're really already married though. In eighteen days you just make sure that your friends and family knows and will hold you to your word.

Thanks guys! I'm down to 17 days...Still not nervous. As some of you know she is our crane operator and shes studying for her Cert Arb test. It's going to be a small Jeep themed wedding(we met through the Jeep club) followed by a weekend of Jeeping.

I think it'll hit the weekend of or the time I step into the stadium (getting married in phllies ballpark at home plate). Have you found that you get more negative advise than positive from people? Its become a pet pev of mine when someone tells me that she'll cheat on me or its less than 50% make it now a days. Personally I don't care to hear it at all.

I remember getting the same negativity from people before I
got married in 1996, but mostly joking like "Why do you
want to go and do a stupid thing like that?"

I understand it all now though.

Since I've been married, I've seen several young pups at
work that have had the same "you guys don't know what
you're talking about; we're different" attitude, but
eventually, they have either all come realized the
inevitable or gotten divorced. After all, there's a reason
why the phrase "you can't live with 'em; you can't live
without 'em" exists.

I've been mostly getting good comments on the up coming wedding. A few wisecracks but mostly positive comments. Hmmm....calendar says I have 6 days left....

3 days left... still not nervous...I did get a list of stuff to be done before Friday, a 3 page list...I didn't know there was going to be lists...

Hah! Maybe you should frame it - the first list of the marriage. Kind of like a business frames the first $1 bill.

Do your best to make DW (Dear Wife) your priority & always meet her true needs. Your life together will be a sweet journey.

And lastly, love and success in a marriage are a decision! Always decide,every day, that you will love her.

As I tell my DW of over 21 years, "Honey, I will love you today, even though you might give me a reason to not Like you!"

So, I won't wish you good luck, rather good decisions!
