I liked the trick at :32 seconds. I can see how tying the butt end to the control line could be adapted to manipulate limbs to come down the line paralell to the speed line (if one took the time to). Most conifers have long/linky limbs. I can see how this technique could help in tight landing zones.

Looked like a sticky job too. I don't know how he could tolerate working without the gloves. Unless, the layer of sap creates a nice glove-like feel.
