'07 F-550 Chip Truck - removable roof and lift gate

2007 Ford F-550 (19,000 lbs. GVW) torque shift 5-speed auto, Powerstroke diesel, less than 52,000 miles (still in service). Schodorf chip body is 5'6" tall, about 11'6" long with 2 removable aluminum roof sections (can take roof off with 2 people) has Eagle Lift gate on the back, works great. Dump body has a little surface rust, will have painted by professional for $700 if buyer wants. Truck runs great, lots of power and strong suspension. You would struggle to over load this truck with wood or chips. Drivers seat is tore on the edge. interior other than that is nice, CD, air cond, cruise control. We have moved into grapple trucks for wood and brush and only use this truck to pull a Gehl 140 on a trailer. Figured I swap it out for a stake body. I bought this truck brand new in 2007 and paid $53,000 for it then. Asking $27,000. Make an offer!

Yes it's a 6L. The key to success with these engines is accurate regular maintenance. I also have an extremely good mechanic shop that specializes in tier 2 Navistar motors. If buyer wants I can have them do a "reprogram" which may or may not ;) involve an EGR delete for $800. With the EGR off these motors are very strong.

Thanks Moosehead, the top rail of the bed is 8'6" with the roof panels off. So you should be able to load with a skid steer. Check your hinge pin height to be sure. Thanks!
