    Wider-view of most of the newer stuff (older stuff was just 1/2 line with 5/8 anchor-slings, was a badly needed upgrade even if I'm not getting to use much just-yet!)

    #1, using climb-lines as rigging lines: I've got an idea that, as time goes by for me in this industry, that every time I retire a climb-line that I can simply make it into a rigging-line, obviously the strength would only allow light & light-medium drops as my 11.7mm double-braid/24-braid...

    Can a ring&ring sling be choked on a spar so you can use it as aerial-anchor?

    I've ordered the 3-ringed (2 large, 1 XL ring), 5', 3/4" tenex Notch rigging sling (130 on ebay, not bad!) however it's "for crotches only", I can't help but think that I'd be just-fine to use it on a spar IF I choked it, I'm picturing using a prusik on one leg that's got a carabiner on it so...
