dying cherry trees

    Is my cherry tree diseased?

    Nearly all of the mature leaves on this newly planted kwanzan cherry tree look like this photo (tree was planted this spring). New leaves have been growing, but at a certain point, this happens to them. A diseased tree?

    bark splitting Cherry Trees

    I had 11 Kwanzan Flowering Cherry trees. A couple have died after bark split around trunk and a few others are beginning the same process. What might cause the bark splitting and peeling away..... and the tree then dying. Please view the accompanying photos.
