    Sorry Don't mean to high jack the thread, but would this be a safe way to tie off on top of a spar? Running bowline with Yosemite tie off So I need a stopper knot?

    Please don't take this the wrong way. Why climb if you don't have to? That limb looks fairly accessible from the ground, could you use a pole saw? I'd just be nervous trying to rig such small diameter stuff. Just my opinion
