This is a short review of the Double Bag; an easy way to store two separate throwlines. Each line can be used without disturbing the other. With its smooth sides and slim profile, the bag is designed to fit easily into any gear bag. I've tried it and it works really well in the woods and rough...
The CMI Rope Jack is a Mechanical Advantage tool for pre-tensioning static lines, light lifting and cabling. The Rope Jack is small enough and light enough to be carried aloft by a climber for Mechanical Advantage within the crown. The length of the handle on the Rope Jack limits excessive...

"Riding a crane ball" for tree work has been on my 'Bucket List' for some time. An arborist friend, Paul Cox, made it happen. Thanks Paul, Robbie, & Derrick!
Crane Ride Video
FWIW ... A couple attempts for improving my Rope Wrench use:
After viewing many videos, pictures and posts, I've been simplifying the Single Line Rope Walker {or, RWRW - Rope Wrench Rope Walker}.
And, I've been trying a different hitch.
I removed one of the ascenders. So, my RWRW now...
I recently tried several new things: GoPro, Rope Wrench, Single Line Rope Walker, SRT Retrievable Redirect. They're all in the following video with a fun 'out-take' at the end.
SRT RETRIEVABLE REDIRECT, Rope Wrench & SLRW (video)

In the ISA publication; The Art and Science of Practical Rigging (Donzelli & Lilly...
Below is a link to a short 'rough-cut' vid of an different MA technique for pretensioning a rigging rope. It can attach mid-line and can run virtually any length of rope. Certainly not a new idea but one I've been contemplating for some time and finally put a few spare components together today...
This post first appeared in the Rope Wrench Feedback? thread. It was suggested that the discussion be moved to its own thread.
So ...
It is my sincere hope that the following diagram and description will be useful in the forever-on-going RADS MA discussion. At least, it should provide some...
After posting the Whoopie Foot-loop concept video some time ago, it occurred to me that I could further simplify the foot-loop. I eliminated the 'back-splice' tail and simply buried the tail. The splice was lock-stitched, double-whipped and frapped at the beginning of the taper instead of the...
