Sure. It is designed strictly for belaying. Proper usage involves two people and hands on the device at all times.
As a lanyard adjuster it could let you slip if it is bumped just right. However, I have found passing a bight through the biner and over the pilot will effectively lock it...
Hate to rain on the parade, but... I bought those same suspenders from Treestuff and I am way disappointed with them. My neck and shoulders were hurting, got a headache, and couldn't move my arms around as much. Anybody wants to buy them from me can send me a PM.
Double thumbs up! I've just spent a couple hours flipping my leg loops. It was kinda tough, but I'm super excited about not having to slide my legs thru the loops. Why isn't it designed this way? Maybe a later version will be more sensible.
