A different take on the pocket sling

You should send some of your splices to arbsession to test. A good piece of mind.

    Sg40 Bandit Stump Grinder

They did some upgrades/fixes from the previous model. One being the belt tension setup and the other is moving to a new river cutter head compared to the previous green teeth. The new machine we have is much better, the new river teeth hold up much better, and there are more than double the...

    Work Photos

A few from the past couple weeks… My neighbors sugar maple was struck by lightning 20+ years ago. Had some funkiness going on. Decided to make the seat and heart finial for our cul de sac. My front yard Oak lost a small top from high winds. Easy cleanup, wife roped off t down for me :) But...

    Throw line splice

I will see if, when I get my throw ball stuck, the very short bury (1”) will ever pull itself out. I like the splice very much right now though

    Throw line splice

Are you referring to half hitches as in a clove hitch? I guess my question is, will the clove hitch roll out in the same/similar fashion as the girth hitch? Pretty cool thoughts. When I have to break my line pulling a stuck throw ball I’ll try that method next haha

    Throw line splice

I’ll let you know. But I’ll let you know. First inclination is, no, none at all haha. But it is definitely lower profile, so maybe pulling a line back through a tight crotch or an elm stub, there is no knot to give you even more trouble

Climber falls out of sycamore tree in NY - anything helps

I noticed the sycamore in my area (finger lakes) struggled super hard early summer. Most look like they recovered but I wonder if it is something related. What was the size of the branch he was tied in to? How high was he on his ascent? Best of luck to him and a smooth recovery.

    TM pro Velcro

Good advice from @Shadowscape , I have tried this exact method for my treemo 2018. The Velcro just didn’t hold AT ALL. I solved all of this by getting a MB 2.0. Haven’t even thought of looking back lol. This happened to me only on the back pad and not on the leg pads…
