I threw an Eagan straight pipe on the echo 355t and saw decent improvement.
I have since taken that back off. Put the stock muffler back on with a drilled hole, less power, less fun, quieter by a long shot haha.
Was getting so much guff from the crew about the loudness but maybe I’ll throw...
Buck steels with caddy all day at work.
I have the carbon distel but those just sit at home. I wear them for side jobs but they are a totally different feel from my work spurs.
Yup. Western NY finger lakes region, January saw 1 day of sun. 1. And that was yesterday!
Wet and sloppy. Near 50 yesterday forties for the next few days.
I’m hoping for a late February march freeze again. We actually had it cold enough to skate on some ponds but that is thawed again
has anyone else noticed the evo 2 does not last nearly as long as they used to?
And ya the toe box gets smaller and smaller as they are used.
Probably done buying those for a while. Although I will wear the pair that the boss bought us haha
Knot blocked speedline line through the ring and a rope tied to the piece and then brought through the pulley and to a portawrap at base or in canopy locked off. Release once piece is off. Not sure of exact procedures. But in my head it works
Just the first thoughts brainstorming here. No bad...
There are many other options I would think for this application… maybe not.
More of an exercise for the splices as well. But might be cool. @Muggs recent video of a controlled speed line setup was pretty cool.
That crossover is tricky, and if it’s not super clean it will be a bear to “beary”
When you made the crossover did you yard pretty good on both ends to get it sucked in real tight?
Do others use an MA system to help with the bury?
So I noticed a few things after putting the beast into action on Thursday. I used it as my main rigging point for a squirrelly honey locust removal. Did a couple of decent weight butt heavy rigs off of it. It did it’s job well.
What I noticed is, with only two passes on the lock, the sling...
Somebody has got to be able to fashion their own right?!
I’ve seen one in hand. Doesn’t fit much besides the ring on a saw lanyard. Won’t take a regular locking carabiner
I will say though, arbsession has been the cats meow. Fingers crossed their customer service stays top notch. (No pun intended.)
I have also had success with customer service and shipping from honey brothers. It makes sense though that all the rock exotica stuff they are selling is wayyy...
I like your logic. I can't think of a way that they would actually pull themselves apart aside from utter destructive forces, which I don't think my application would produce. We have bigger gear for that
