    Gas engines on chippers...

    I was at bandit customer days at factory they had a 1390 gas running beside a 1390 tier 4. Gas was 130 horse, they ran equivalent diesel has more tourque but gas recovered so as far as I could see it was a draw . Also they ran a 18x(1890) with a 169 horse v8 gas and it was impressive

    If you can swing it try the 2650 it is a beast at 65horse,I have always ran Rayco stumpers but last year picked up 1 2650 and 2 2890's and haven't looked back. They have had a few problems but time will tell if they are as durable as rayco

    Look on kijiji in Alberta , in Ontario it shows a dealer in Edmonton with 2-3 units like what you want. Check under chipper in heavy equipment.
