    I gave up on the hh for this reason, Inconsistency. I used to flip and rotate the bone everything I other time I took it off rope bc I thought you should always spread up the wear evening. Never thought of leaving it in the the same way every time. Maybe that's why mines Inconsistent.

    I agree but it just wouldn't be the best choice. I haven't heard anything bad about the hardware on the TM? Only gripe I heard about was the back pads not sticking to the velcro....Just a FYI to any tm users, you can fit the back pads from the old TM models to the new tm and the old back pads do...
