    static rope

Jon, is that kernmaster really only 12mm or is it just called 12mm and it's at 12.7mm (1/2")?' My uni has some wear but grabs nicely at 12mm and that extra 0.7 just means quicker wear. Eventually I'll be running 1/2 inch before a rebuild but it doesn't tend smooth on it now.

    This is the Akimbo

You've got a lot of rope people excited there Jaime, me included! Will the 'go fund me' be open another week or so? Got to get it together with the exchange these days; it was almost par couple years ago. What kind of metal are you thinking of using for production and will the eccentric shaft be...

Who's a Big Shot with a Big Shot?

Dynaglide 2.0mm with mostly 14 oz. I just bought a new elastic and pouch but one of these days I'll pull the trigger on the APTA. I'm certain I'll like it more. Wonder if there would be any issues getting it across the border now a days?

    Lowest stretch 11.7 line??

Waldo where on the west cost was that? That's a good size fir now a days and its kind of sad to know that there was a time when 350 + feet were common. Never used poison ivy but have used blue moon which I like. Escalator didn't have a lot of bounce but I didn't like the feel and lay of hand...

    Life in the temperate zone...

Good little story (it's rant & rave for a reason) with my coffee this morning. How convenient the home owner had to rush out just then... ops I forgot I owed you money. That's the way though, take something positive out of everything.

    Trinity tree artwork

I like it! Beauty above and below! I've collected a couple small root systems but I always have to hack a good portion off as even a small root system is heavy. I'll get a machine one day. Is that selfie of you after you had your gear stolen? You look unimpressed. I posted in the other thread...

    Milling urban trees

Do you make a mixture of one to one beeswax to linseed oil, or is it another ratio? Do you ever let logs sit for a couple years or more before milling? That picture didn't come through. Can make some nice Y table out of the branch unions. A friend has a Y table out of teak over 6 inches thick...

    Stolen Gear Alert!!!

That's brutal! Thieves are some of the worst and stealing a mans tools that are specialized tools of the trade is even worse... I hope they get whats coming to them. That really sucks, I hope it's not someone you know and if it is you catch em red handed.

    Milling urban trees

Good info and thanks Drew. I've painted the ends but will use beeswax next time. I do have issues with checking so maybe this will help. I too have the old torque stihls. A 070 and a 090. The 090 needs a bit of work so usually run the 070 and use a 460 for smaller stuff. I'm very envious of...

Drew, for the air do you just sticker and cover? Doing just air drying how long does it take to cure? Here in BC it's so humid it takes a year at least to stabilize.

    Milling urban trees

Drew, very nice. I do a bit of Alaskan milling but not to the that extent as I lack the big machines to move it around. Really nice work you're doing. Whats sort of drying techniques do you use?

I didn't even see the wrench on his list... As for the Protos if it was orange/grey I'd get them for sure despite thinking I'd be wanting to get new head band and sweat stuff for em', knowing how much we sweat when we work. None the less I'm sending a pm for a picture. Always interested in...
