    I just saw that one the other day, haven't gotten a chance to try it yet but it said it was secure and easy to release, looks like a much better option, I've never had the highwaymans capsize on me but the potential is definitely there

    I don't see any advantage over a running bowline, I don't use an alpine ever anyways-I tie a midline bowline so I can untie it at the TIP if need be, and hardware free, but it was cool to figure out. So anymore guesses?? Hint-it can be a climbing termination knot if it wasn't slipped
