New to me. My wife has been at the location for a number of years but not paid attention to what she has for trees. I want to know, so we can properly care for them.
I confirmed with my new wife that it is not a crab apple tree. Don't have any old leaves to go by, so only have bark, shape and buds to work with right now.
Just moved to a hobby farm and looking over our grove, prior to spring coming. I have what I believe are a large number of questionable trees. Many with dead branches and limbs, split bark and growths at the base of trunks. It also looks to me that there is an excessive number of dead trees too...
