    I thought more cypress as well...and was actually surprised to learn that the japanese cedar is actually a cypress and not a cedar.

    Hey Jeff (nice name...btw...mine too!) :rock: I checked out the yew, but the region isn't right and I think the fruit/seeds are different. The cone was what made me lean towards japanese cedar after seeing some strikingly similar cones in a google search.
