1" rope Patrick? Who da fook uses 1" rope. Even 3/4" is overkill. Unless you lowering a bus. 5/8th can handle some monster stuff if setup correctly.

    Saddle setup (picture thread)

Kalimba is too much stretch for me. Very nice rope, just too much bounce.

    DMM Harness

Fuck all that noise. Screw adjustable bridges. Screw the sequoia, it crushed my jewels for 2 years. What a horrible thing. Will get a Kinisi once the hype is long gone. Thankfully I have 3 Evos in great condition. I can wait.

Be Jeebus. We talking the same gig then that I have been using for 12 years. Tweeked out now. These terms want revamping.

    Knee Ascender

Ropewalker generally was used just for ascent, switching over to MRS for working. Hand ascender with footloop and foot ascender. Can backup with prussic above hand ascender connected to bridge of harness for backup. Problem with this system was not having egress to ground in case of emergency...

    Knee Ascender

I find kneeascenders to be a nice quick setup. Plus having a handled ascender above a multiscender is annoying. Pros and cons. You can surely get a longer stride with a ropewalker but having to switch over to your climbing device is a deal breaker. Damn I am pretty quick with my setup, even for...

Loose Trousers for Arb Work - Japanese Tobi Workwear “Nikkapokka” for arborists?

Sounds like a painful day. Loads of snagging. But we are all different. So not knocking them. Whatever folks like is cool by me.

Loose Trousers for Arb Work - Japanese Tobi Workwear “Nikkapokka” for arborists?

Those would drive me completely insane. Mammut hiking pants or arbortec non chainsaw. Depending on the job at hand. I have owned so many. Latest being SIP gecko's and Pfanner Globes. All have downfalls. No perfect ones. But I hate baggy anything. Got to be synthetics and slim fit. But I am a 31...

    Knee Ascender

Not in my book Sean. My ascent system is so freakin dialed. I spend very little energy and my body loves it. Knee ascenders, once built properly and are the right length for stride rebound it is flawless on ascent. Been perfecting since 2012.

Overgrown Hedges and Setting Realistic Expectations

Now this is my approach. Fuck your hedge you don't like maintaining. I will not sully my reputation pissing with your stupid hedge you allowed to get away. Tropical hedges are insanely wild mostly. I run from hedges and palms. Love killing them all. I get enjoyment killing them. Tall hedges are...
