    So I finally got around to making the mod on my DMm geckos. Took me 45min with a flat file by hand to perfection! Worked great!

    You need to grind down one of the ribs on the DMM spikes to allow for the ascender to lay flat. Ill try and find the pic that James Milcairns showed me.

    Thanks for the feed back everyone. I decided on the Dmm aluminum Geckos with lower Velcro foot straps. I will modify Geckos to fit the SS2 Spike ascender by dale Thomas. James Milcairns shared with me how he did the mod. Ill keep you posted when i get them in. Thanks Ian
