    Bashlin-XS saddle review!

    great saddle for most climbers, but i am a super small climber and the back pad is way to big for us smaller guys. I comes up to the bottom of my shoulder blades. Glad you like it though i have heard nothing but positive things about this saddle!

    Re: twisted rope Reversing the lay of the VT does work. Have you experienced any milking of the blaze line your using? I have seen blaze milk something fierce more than a couple of times.

    which rope to buy?

    Try fly line by New England. I personally bring 60 feet of firefly, 120 feet of dragonfly, and 180 feet of normal fly to every job. All are still fly line but in different colors. Like raven said its easy to know lengths when they are color coded.

    Masterblaster, I do use those blue sticky gloves(wonder gloves) every now and then but i believe that they slow me down. I have way better feeling and control without them. And no worries I still can grab the @$$ it just gives her something to crab about!

    Man that sucks. A tree that old and all that work to keep it pollarded. I would be a shame to remove it without tryin' to save the bugger that way if it does need to be removed at least you can say you tried!
