    Notch yard armor mats

Getting ready to buy 30 mats for our crane.....IMO i think the 3' width opposed to 4' will not be great for larger trucks.....We have 4' now and when trucks are turning you use all of the width and more.

    Fecon stump grinder

What's the cost of the grinder? Do you want to drag your loader for every stump? It's also going to limit where you can get into and leave a greater foot print. I understand where it could make sense but where it wouldn't as well.....and that amount of teeth is a ton of upkeep!!!!

    Basking Ridge Oak Dismantling

I'd love to know the estimated project cost? Is any of the time or service being donated just to be a part of the project? I'm sure the publicity is huge! Keep the updates coming.

    Swapping out sandvik wheels

When we did the wheel on our rayco all the work was in the shaft. Even the bearings aren't too bad. If you are at all mechanically inclined it should be no problem.

    05 ford f-450

Bump.....this is a great truck and it kills me to see it sit. Id take $17,500 for the truck with the snow plow and the chip box which is extremely well built.

    Chipper size for crane crew

When the landing zone is tight we typically set the winch line on the butt or grab with the log truck, get it in and chipping and let the crane float the other end until it can fit in the work zone. I'm sick of dealing with so much trashy wood that can't be chipped. Having a larger capacity...

    Chipper size for crane crew

We bought an altec 38 ton. One of the big things is that I'm really not big on is trying to save and separate small wood and would like to be able to chip everything that's not either a saw log or just plain huge. Just to clarify, two guys with a machine and log truck can make it happen but...

    Chipper size for crane crew

Do you know how wide they are? Also what hp do you find adequate for the larger removals? We will be keeping the 1590 for smaller work.

    Chipper size for crane crew

We recently purchased our own crane and it's become very apparent that our 140 hp 1590 isn't going to keep up to the pace anymore. I'm looking to purchase something larger and I'm leaning towards a 1990. The trouble I see is the size when we are in tight areas and obviously the cost. I'm...

    How do you add value?

In the biz of removals price usually wins. Keep in mind though there are certainly exceptions to the rule. Many times we can sell a low impact process meaning after we leave you won't need to have a new lawn installed etc. Also, sell your crane.....Make people understand that you are going to...

    Wtb 18" plus chipper

We have a 1590 and an older 1250 we picked up as a back up. Replacing the 1250. We basically have enough equipment for sale now for someone to go into the tree biz lol. Truck, grinder, chipper etc.

    Rayco rg50

Just to clarify Royce the bobcat stores just took over the bandit territory selling brush bandit, they didn't buy out bandit. Not sure if I answered your question in my first response.

    Rayco rg50

Yes bobcat got the territory because Tyler wasn't moving enough equipment. The guys at bobcat are top notch and will do a great job.

Mostly because the bandit dealer is 20 min from us and we have a great relationship with them. The rayco dealer didn't even have a machine for us to demo and there machine was 10k more. I don't roll the dice on 70k and hope for the best.

    Wtb 18" plus chipper

Looking to upgrade an older 18" machine we have with something newer. I would prefer a high hp 1890 or 1990 but would consider the right morbark. Min 18" 175hp. Thanks!

    New stump grinder

We bought a Bandit 2650. Demoed it last week and it was a beast. This was a leftover and if we passed it up would have had to add about $10k to the price of a new one......
