    Seems like loyalties are pretty set. I have to say that I firmly believe that the operator has so much to do with how a piece of equipment is perceived. That being said, I'm in the Avant camp. Never flipped, no broken panels, very little issues. 528 1400hrs. Pushed to the limit.

    I saw that too and was curious. Years back, I used a "green"? wheel... It worked, think it was for a rayco stumper , with the finger style cutters. It shrank down pretty quick against the tungsten. I switched my yellow jackets(2 cutting sides) on the vermeer to green teeth with 3 cutting...

    "Local", like the level II one that I go to every work day? There are some others, around(ish), not sure how receptive they'd be. Did find out that a gallon of Anchor seal goes for about 48-50 bucks..

    ideal... there in place forever acceptable.... a few years, if cant, cut it up give to turner friend , make some cool pieces unacceptable... not try anything, watch it crumble away. (especially if I cut it at the ground and relocate it)

    I've heard "anchor seal" a few times now going to look into. Lots of great input. I really appreciate everyone's opinion. Especially those with/or having had some similar experiences. I'm hoping for the best. I think worse case (still good imo) is multiple pieces. Preserving whole seems tough...
