    Does it require some break in time? I tried it on vortex, ivy, cougar and xtc and had to use substantial force compress the ‘bird’ to get it to release for me. It’s fine for moving around the tree but for descent in the canopy, I haven’t found its sweet spot. I have the bollard fully open...

    Prana stretch Zion(https://www.prana.com/stretch-zion-pant.html?colors=mud) for quite a while - 5+ years - love em except they recently skinny jeaned their sizing. That helped inspire me to drop some lbs at least. Certainly not saw proof but I don’t consider that a priority when climbing.

    So I got the set screw and sure enough, the sheave came off. But now cutting the sheave in half to widen is problematic because the set screw sits right where that cut would be.

    I believe I already removed that screw - it was pointed at the end, right between the ropes’ entry/exit point. Spinning the sheave around, I see a small allen head set screw which looks to go to the center/shaft of sheave.
