i use a 3-1 vt on my steelcore lanyard, about as short as you can get....it doesnt bind on the steel core bout probably would on rope. still dont think you can beat the positioner on a lanyard.
I really like the tachyon, fly was my favourite rope for a long time despite trying numerous others, i always went back to it....still too early to tell but i feel the tachyon has slightly broken the mould.
no it doesnt. i have a hank i received couple days ago which i shall be testing out tomorrow for the first time. i hope its good, im also a huge fly fan and i believe fly is being discontinued in the uk.
i'd record every days activities if i could!! im not getting any younger and slowing down by the day so it would be nice to have something to show the grandkids!! unfortunately without coughing up for a dedicated cameraman everyday its never gonna happen...its usually all hands on deck!
must get...
heres a couple of interesting videos courtesy of bob.
I've heard people in the past who claim a wirecore offers no more safety that a rope lanyard...i think these videos clearly show otherwise

not going for the hexafoam?
[/ QUOTE ]
Hi Steve
There is no need for hexafoam, as the seat clips over the existing leg pads, which are already padded.
