    Actually kinda like that design. Could have used that a month ago when I was skidding out logs off a hill over just using a heavy duty steel biner. Larger surface area to spread the stress of big loads. Unlike mine where the biner compromised it's safety by warping the plate slightly.

    From the sounds of what you plan on doing a 192t would handle it all just fine. Not too expensive and is a pretty relialble little saw. Feel it is a great in tree starter and pruning saw.

    Checked my gaters but label is almost completely worn off after 2 washes but says to wash them rugually and only comment to dmg or loss of safety protection is if washed incorrectly.

    Have only had this happen to the cell phono pocket myself. But more due to loose stitching that is easy to fix with a needle and thread. Just wish that was only issue so all my pairs wouldn't be riddled with holes.

    They are definitly the best bang for your buck. I use to use the before i switched to stretch-airs, which i both love and hate at the same time.     Those actually don't look half bad. Might have to pick a set of those up and probally cut off 2 of those attachment pieces and sew in a few inch long loop-runners to attach to the front rings just the same as the tm suspenders do and then sew on a few gear loops in the padding and they'd be sweet.
