    figure 8 for removal

    that`s exactly what im thinking.I´m just intested in rigging this up, the only way i can imagine is with the figure 8 somewere over my head to get the rope in the right direction. I´m just wundering why some british shops sell it for removals! For the real small ones im using a munter hitch...

    just read ubout using a figure8 device for lowering trunks and branches in smaller removals. does anyone of U got experience with this? it sounds pretty dangerous to me. They sell this device for lowering pices up to 600lb is that possible.
