OG rope runner back on Arbsession

I bought my first Rope Runner (RR) in 2015 after being on the Rope Wrench since 2011.

Still running the original RR to this day although I gave my first one away.

I use 11-12mm ropes (mostly 11.5-11.7mm) and leave the top bollard wide open–never adjusting. When it does start slipping I know it's time to turn the bollards.

They cost $349 in 2015 and the price on arbsession is $349.95 in 2025!

Thank you Kevin Bingham

One cool hack from Mike Powers is use a #40 (2.5mm) and make a hole at the top of the friction plate for tying a piece of throw line (Dynaglide of course) to aid in tending. Alternatively use an original Singing Tree Quickie (shown below) to provide a nice central tending point.
