The Bry-Dan Saddle

The Bry-Dan saddle was decades ahead of itself. Today we are seeing a breakthrough in saddle design in terms of form and function and I look forward to the future to see what new designs are in store for Arborists.

I was wondering who out there still climbs in a Bry-Dan and how do you think it stands up to these newer saddles?

I have my dad's old original, put it on fit just right. guessed they were sized to the individual back then. I'm sure back then that was awesome.

Yup, I too have an original Bry-Dan and it's still awesome!

It's cool when I get a couple beers in him and he starts going off and how a big deal they were back then, I believe he got his measurements submitted and did it all at an ace hardware. sidenote: My main foreman who taught me how to climb worked for B&H. Cool little piece of OG history making its bones out here in nor cal.

What was your foremans name? Was he still climbing at the time? B&H was still going long after I left so I didn't work with everyone but you never know. Same questions about your dad if you don't mind.

What harness have you chosen?
