Gray’s Tree Service is looking to hire climbers to join their growing tree service crews. A positive attitude and a can-do mindset are very important to success in this role. Climbing experience makes for an ideal employee, but it’s not necessary to land the role as we have trained many successful climbers.

This is a job for someone who has good use of both their mind and their body. You will be required to quickly make decisions under pressure while always keeping safety at the forefront. Successful climbers can go on to become crew leaders.

You're right and I'm embarrassed. We're starting at $19 per hour for people we have to teach, and going up from there on experience. We've got a lot of steady work and we're looking to hire right away.

We're looking at $20-24 an hour for competent climbers. $30 and above for rockstars depending on experience.

I’ve heard Alabama cost-of-living is really cheap but I would agree. Nobody from Michigan is going to Alabama for those wages.
