Trees from a distance

Yup, thats right where that one is.

It grows really well up here! I planted a Q. greggii in my yard about 3 years ago and it is thriving. I don't know how well it will do in more humid regions, but in the PNW it crushes.
I guess I ended up typing "111th" but I meant "11th" just North of Knott st. I guess you figured that out though, lol. Good stuff.

I guess I hadn't read enough of this thread to know that's how it works. I'll need a few days before I can get a pic, since my wife's car is in pieces and she's taking my truck while I'm on "vacation". If anyone feels compelled to submit a tree in the meantime, by all means, please do so. I already have one in mind though.
 
I actually used Google Maps to find the tree I wanted in order to save time. This tree is in Portland, Oregon and it's the only one of its kind I've ever seen here. I'm not near as educated as most of you with regards to just how common or rare this tree is in other areas, but I suspect it's likely rare in all of the US. Buzzboard Tree 3.jpg
