I replaced the murphy switch on our 2006 bandit 200 and it ran for 3 days and now the murphy switch is dead again. Any ideas where I should look?

I have another coming tomorrow from amazon but this is our backup chipper since our production chipper is having a major engine overhaul being done. I'll pop in it and hope for the bestNo idea. But, talking to someone about "the good old days" they mentioned that a favored auto repair shop 30 years ago used to put only high quality parts in cars and were still plagued with 20 to 25% failure rate on parts.
He would sometimes remove a known working part from doner vehicle to use in diagnosis.
Might want to get the part from a Quality known source as well.I have another coming tomorrow from amazon but this is our backup chipper since our production chipper is having a major engine overhaul being done. I'll pop in it and hope for the best
Every now and then it makes sense to pay someone else to figure it out and actually fix it.
100%! No other mechanic-ing can infuriate like gremlin electrical problems. How much time and $ have spent misdiagnosing over the years?I’m easily confounded and defeated by electrical issues. Every now and then it makes sense to pay someone else to figure it out and actually fix it.
Glad you got it fixed correctly. Nothing like well running equipment! We got it figured out. The dealer wired the old one all cattywompuss
no, the dealer that replaced it years and years ago when it went in for new disc bearings. Something happened and to a fuse but they had a wire taped up and tucked away. I'm not sure how they had it working right but perhaps it was a slightly different model??Manufacturer?
That's good to know, thanks for the update.
