Notch Swinger Tool Carrier

These look like an awesome tool carrier. I'm putting together a new harness and leaving my old at another place. So of course one of the first needs is the tool attachments. This look like something I need.
Anyone else using one?
Before I saw that I started to design my own for lightweight stuff and for the end of my lanyard. Still in prototyping phase but here is a model of it. 1/4 20 flange head screws and T-nuts, like I use on the SAKA, will attach it over the webbing of the harness.
You can view it with the browser and do not need to download the app. or I have now attached a thumbnail to this post.

Thanks for the hype. The Swinger came out great!

Some cool technical drawings from the patent.

What keeps the gate from opening accidently upward ? (w/o using the locking mechanism)
A little spring force. If you think it could be an issue, you're definitely meant to lock it in those situations, though Nick mentioned an unofficial way to do it, which is to open it, then lock it in the inward opening position, and then it functions as a one way lock

Out of 682 search results using your name, I did not see it. (I can easily miss things too) Do you have a number? If I'm going to toy around with this, I'd like to know what the claims are. Thanks Nick

Got a Swinger Carry Tool from TreeStuff.com. Thank you.

It is considerably “beefier” than I expected. NICE !
I like the “lockable” functions: 1. Total insert & removal; 2. Removal function.
I like the bottom hole for attaching a chainsaw lanyard w/ a carabiner, etc.
The Swinger attachment plate requires a 1/8” Allen (hex) wrench; a long shaft is beneficial to clear the gate/barrel structure. I installed some spacer washers to make it removable from a “utility belt”.

It is obviously much nicer & more sophisticated than my “very simple” old green Buck saw carry “S-hook”.

@Richard Mumford-yoyoman - Did you click on Bonner's "Google patents" link above ?
It took me a while as I was away but yes, I have taken a look. Very cool concept of a double swinging gate. With that I can put more stuff on my harness. ;-) Reality is that it makes things easier on and off and if I have a large bulky 'whatever' to hang, the gate will not get in the way or restrict the size of it. I do hope it gets issued and I know those things take time. Now to order one and give it a swing.
