Might work good for getting those twigs off roof tops. I’ve shoved a rake into a fiberglass pole for extra reach for roofs and pondsI was wondering the same. Saw the Beaver Rake Head at arborist.com and liked the idea of using it on poles I already store, but have no idea how well it would work. View attachment 92321
My buddies saying is “ you got time to lean you got time to clean”.Very true. I had a groundie who would rake extra whenever he wasn’t needed. I sure mis all of the tips we used to get.
I think its more about extending down for storage, than extending up for versatility. I've thought about keeping one in the suv I drive around for visits, etc...every now and then I'll prune a few branches while I'm out and stuff them in the back - would be good to do a nice job cleaning up on those, but I never have a rake.I didn't look at it. I just assumed that if someone bothered to make a telescoping handle that they would throw us tall people a bone.
My favorite rake, but they break easily.
It's the adjustable spread that makes it cool.Has anyone tried this rake? https://www.baileysonline.com/barnel-telescopic-steel-rake-35-to-71.html
Our saying is joking most of the time anyways lolMy buddies saying is “ you got time to lean you got time to clean”.
I wonder if a more durable tine could replace the ones that break? It’s tempting to give it a try. It's the adjustable spread that makes it cool.
If the handle holds up, it seems like it'd be worth it.I wonder if a more durable tine could replace the ones that break? It’s tempting to give it a try.
They fall apart at the adjustable sliding tine mechanism and can't be resurrected.I wonder if a more durable tine could replace the ones that break? It’s tempting to give it a try.
I literally laughed out loud at this one. I may have to share that.

A side by side comparison.
