there are devices that will follow you up, you can ropewalk up one rope with a backup.Sorry for the dumb question. But if you're running a double bridge, I'm assuming you can only SRS on a single multiscender (at a time)? So the second connection is made once in the canopy?
Thanks gents
Be careful with this. The harnesses are not designed to be weighted off a single D. Need to think about a shit hits the fan scenario. I wouldn't want to be suspended by a single side D. Being suspended by two is bad enough.I will clip a lanyard or hook line to a single side D if it let's me position the way I way for a cut.
Definitely don't do it without being properly tied twice. I use it as a 3rd leg for positioning, but I didn't realize that in a catastrophic scenario, it wasn't rated for a single D connection. I have taken what was technically a factor 1.5 onto a technora lanyard on the two lower Ds, and it was unpleasant to say the least, but reassuring to know that it wasn't the worst I have experienced. I give credit to the two branches I hit for slowing my fall enough to not break anything, and it was only a total fall of about 3'.Be careful with this.
