It was a media blitz and in retrospect a complete propaganda campaign that was very well coordinated. I marched in DC against the war twice, with 600,000 people, came home and my wife, who had been listening to the news all day reported that there wasn't one word about the protest on the news.

If you study history, you will find that the US government (and many other governments) has a history of using false flag attacks to initiate wars. It's an old story, from the bombing of the Maine to Gulf of Tonkin. Working backwards from the Iraq WMD scam pushed mainly by Donald Rumsfeld in the last Bush administration, to a motive for a government plot to take down the twin towers is such a contrived and outrageous fantasy. The "progressive left" was so enamored of Bernie Sanders that when Hillary Clinton won the nomination many left leaders were saying Clinton or Trump, what's the difference? A significant number of progressive voters sat on their hands and Trump won. We found out there is a difference between Donald and Hillary. Cue Jan. 6 insurrection, Trump's final act as president. The most authoritarian and corrupt individual in modern times to hold that office. The left has yet failed to take responsibility for that massive f-up.

I see history as the tug of war between two polar opposites, namely a) coincidence and b) conspiracy. Some would have us believe that everything that happens is coincidence. Others would have us believe that everything is conspiracy. Neither position can be correct all of the time.

The simple realization that every single piece of information that comes from "official" sources has an agenda behind it, is often enough to challenge our perception of reality, and hopefully lead to more critical thinking on important issues.

I was born on a cold Sunday morning in early february....

I find it fascinating how so many people think they know so much... As if anything outise the box of their belief systems just couldn't be true. I ask myself, "what does someone else know that I don't"

The story of human origins is a great example of that outisde the box information for many. If we have been completely deceived about human genesis, then everything from there is going to off.

I love the presentations of Paul Wallis on the biblicl stories of human origins.

I've studied Sitchin's work on the Sumerian creation story since about 2002, and met him after a talk in Philly some years before his death.

And I don't need a scientist or a research paper or a governement investigation to tell me what is undeniable from just using a litte common sense. Anyone that for a second thought that the worst pandemic in 100 years was casued by a corona virus in bats that made the zoonotic jump at a meat market within walking distance of the only level 4 virology lab in China that happened to be doing GOF research on corona viruses in bats, doesn't have the common sense of a house cat. The idea is rediculous.. laughable, yet so many are so easily duped...

And then the duped turn around and say it's my ego and sense of superiority that make me a conspiracy theorist... When such conclusions are just basic common sense.. like who ate the cake? How about the kid with the icing all over his face? .. you don't need science to prove that... It's obvious...

Nothing “must be” in epidemiology. No competent virus scientist says “I know for sure it was lab manipulated” in reference to an unconfirmed possible zoonotic virus transfer. Never. It’s a red flag. To say “I believe based on my data and research that (so and so virus) was manipulated in a lab” is fair. A good scientist always presents their findings as their opinion based on peer-reviewed work. As mentioned it is a red flag when a scientist or anyone says “It has to be” or “It can’t be anything else”. That’s not scientific language or process. I did pay attention in my 9th grade biology class ;-) Learning to think critically has to start young. You should try it sometime though, not too late!

Lame attempts at humor aside a lot of the language I’m hearing from you and others around the various conspiracy theories sounds more like religious fervor. A true believer is a true believer, there’s no point in trying to convince otherwise.
