Cats of Treebuzz…prrrrr

Liesel (the little one) and Aslan (her giant son) who tolerate my presence and occasionally permit me to occupy the couch.

These were my babies this past July. The boy is Link, the girl is Zelda. She always wins their play fights even though he’s bigger. 81B3975D-0F1B-42AC-8FF9-F23C313F7BCB.jpeg398C773E-2266-480D-ABD1-2E4CAC05DF77.jpegA251760D-5223-4CD3-9026-BB32DCD1E777.jpegThey’re sweeties. There’s something about a purring cat in my lap that’s just medicine for the soul.

Meet Mr. Ba, an elderly mill cat rescue with bad teeth, a gimpy leg and diabetes. I brought him home when his owner passed. With me being a Type 1 diabetic we took insulin together in the AM. He had some great golden years with me, died in my arms 4:30 AM a couple or so years back.

He was the chillest dude, to a point. Like all cats he had certain things that must be, or there will be consequences.

Hello, I'm back

A couple of years ago a high school team mate of mine sent me a Facebook message about how the tone of my shares was getting a bit too tense. He advised me to watch more cute cat videos. He was right,
To state the obvious, the interwebs were invented by Al Gore to post cat photos. It's been mostly downhill ever since!

Wow, that’s a serious cat! I thought my 18 pounder was a big boy!
I got a supposed 18 pounder down on a '22 cat rescue. The dude was going tree-to-tree at height running from me. He got bored with the chase I guess and finally let me get him on day 2. He was not 18 lbs. Maybe lost weight during his fairly long stay in the trees.

This is my cat Gabby, so named because he was, by far, the most talkative cat I have ever seen. The only cat I ever saw who routinely talked to himself. He was trouble -- and lots of money at the vet -- from the first day he showed up at my door. He was small but fierce and powerful, and he lived life to the fullest. He died three months ago, but left a big impression and lots of memories behind.
