I understand the risks involved buying a used RRP right now which is why I’ve priced accordingly. This is a low mileage/gently used RRP in good working order, however the manufacturers date does fall into the inspection order. I’ve inspected it, climbed on it, and it works as it should for me to sell in good conscience. All in all this device probably has around 10 hours of use total on it(some test/rec use, some production work). Comes with original packaging and manual.

Well guy I will give you 2 cents. Used climbing gear is nearly never a good thing.

10 hours is next to nothing. If you have ever been to a safety class then you probably know they say to inspect your equipment before each use. More importantly have someone else inspect it for you. Do what you will afterwards when you have the info necessary to make a good decision. Did I mention inspect it? If you don't know what to look for or even if you do have someone else qualified inspect it. Pictures on the internet do not cut it.
 
Thanks for your 2 cents “guy”. Plenty of used gear being sold here regularly, even the rope runner pro. Not looking for a lesson about topics I am well aware of, not looking to sell this to someone that doesn’t understand this concept either. Also, the points you touch on are not just “safety class” materials. If you look at any literature or manual for anything in this industry it clearly states inspection frequency (and always before use). Did I mention read the literature? Read a industry related book? What’s your point?

Lol. Why are you even in this thread bruh. Why are you assuming the guy hasnt inspected until he was selling? Why are you assuming he doesnt know how to inspect it? And have you don't your good deed of letting everyone know how scared you are of used gear by going thru every thread to warn everyone? I see someone is selling a uses truck, go let him know the dangers of used vehicles.
 
That second comment was the most rock climber shit I ever heard. I hope you throw your carabiners away when you drop them on the lawn from waist height. You know, microfractures.
I have some used thick skin should you find yourself butt hurt from my comments. That said, it would.likely be life support for you and it is unfortunately heavily used.

You obviously don't rock climb

Tree climber are much more afraid of used gear than a rock climber is. I know people who use rock climbing cams they found in a crack thats probably been sitting outside for at least 10 years. I used the same cams for life support.

We've met some different rock climbers and tree climbers. Either way it was a bit of an uncalled knee-jerk response to the first comment there so I apologize if that rubbed you wrong.
