Hey guys, curious on your thoughts on some of the new gear we have coming out this year?

Supersaver is definitely very cool. Gear bag looks pretty good as well, can't say if it's better than Courant or Notch Access from just the pictures though. I would never buy that saddle, too many things going on in the front, but bringing any capabilities to the table that make it worth it. That's just IMO. I do really like that the buckles for the leg loops are on the inside of the thigh though.
Thanks for the feedback. Saddle was build and designed to be versatile and comfortable. You might be pleasantly surprised. Shoot me a message and we can discuss further.

I’ve always liked Buckingham saddles. Hard for me to tell from my phone; is there real lower Ds/ lower rigging plates to use a positioning lanyard with, besides the usual hip Ds?
Yes, the soft connection points where designed to serve as a lower forward D-ring connection point.

The supersaver does looks amazing..another game changer. Hopefully it will be in the right price range. Affordable to all. And for the saddle. All new age saddles. Have 2 big problems. Well for me anyway. Because of my waist i fall in the middle of small and medium. So either the sizing should over lap a few inches. Or be 1 size fits all. And the other is durability/resilience. Sure a light saddle is nice. But how long do these saddles last with the materials there made from. Me personally if im spending $700 on a saddle i want it to last a long time. And i feel it wont last half the time i want it to. My boss has an old weaver saddle thats probably 20 years old has a hell of alot of hours in it. And still could last another 20 with a little tlc put into it. Now thats a saddle in my opinion. Sure there not as comfortable as the new ones. But they last. You get your moneys worth for sure. That was the first saddle i used. Just recently bought my own saddle. A treemotion evo. A cutting edge saddle that i love already but i know it wont last anywhere near as long as an old school saddle. Without spending an arm an leg to regularly maintain it. For me thats what i wish you guys would keep in mind when making a new saddle.
Chris, have you had any experience in a Buckingham saddle? I am not sure why you would correlate one of our saddles with not being durable/reliable? I would like to think that is what we do best with our saddles. Shoot me a message and will discuss further.

No. And i didnt really mean it like that. Im sure there nice. I just mean they dont make them like they use to anymore. And i dont just mean Buckingham. You got to know what i mean. Im not saying there not durable. Its just these new lighter materials there building with are not as durable. These new harnesses dont have half the lifetime the old harnesses have. But im not trying to say thats totally a bad thing. Sure i like a nice light saddle. I just want it to last a long time. How long do you think a petzl sequoia would last an arborist. I cant say for certain but i had 1 and id give it maybe 3 years. 5 being generous. Then id need another. Im not talking just about Buckingham. But all of the major manufacturers are trying to make lighter saddles. With materials that dont last long

I for one like the design of the new saddle..Looks like a no nonsense workingman's harness, and being a Buck it will no doubt be built to last. Any idea when its gonna hit the market?

Wow, your website instantly crashed my older computer. This is a danger with using cutting edge and feature-laden web authoring for a business site. It may look impressive but as a business you want to reach the most potential customers, not merely those with the latest and greatest computers.

All of our saddles are manufactured in US with high quality material that is meant to be durable and last a long time. I can not speak for other manufactures.

Rico, this will be available in march. Also I think you hit the nail on the head, fundamental features that give you industry best versatility without all the nonsense. I would also add that this saddle is truly on a different level on the comfort side. Thanks for the feedback

I'll hold my judgement until I see the video but right now it looks like a rigging plate with a different shape. But maybe that's what sets it apart from the others. I can see something like this getting used in ways you as the manufacturer never considered haha. I say that as a positive. Tree folks have a way taking a brand new bit of kit, turning it side ways, scratching their head while squinting at it, then mumbling something like, "that oughta work like that".

What I really want to see on the market is a rigging plate carabiner/snap combo like this, but with the dbl auto locking gate and hole big enough to get a quickie link through it:

You folks make that, and I'll add Buckingham Manufacturing to my Christmas card list.
Phil, shoot me a private message and will discuss further.

that harness and bag are lookin sweet, if I may ask, what is the weight of them? that bag looks to be able to carry all the gear I own in one trip
