Wow, so in Ontario our kids have had school cancelled. I'd figured there'd be no school after the March Break- my wife was considering homeschooling the boys, anyway, so here we are. Forced our hand, but she's happy. Her issue with the homeschool was 'what would other people think?' - well, now everyone is doing it !o)
Our Prime Minister is in self-isolation. His wife contracted coronavirus while in the UK- which is terrible. Having said that, Mr. Trudeau and Sophie are pretty young as politicians go (maybe 50, at the oldest) so likely they should be okay. Prayer's with them (and everyone else, whose sick, for that matter...) - they have quite a few little one's, and that must be tough.
Of course, I was on the ground yesterday felling about 50 dead, red pine when the wind picked up and the holding wood broke on a big gal, and she went backward along my 10 o'clock and missed me by a foot or so. Whew-wee. I'd sprinted away- but not nearly fast enough. Should have called it due to the wind, but I was stupid, and thinking about making some bucks before the area goes into lockdown.
As my groundman said:
"Dead-tree-on-head virus is apparently 100% fatal..."
Have a safe day out there, fellas!!!
