Anyone Selling a FUSO 4x4 Chip Truck?

The important question is how does it do going down black bear pass?

All kidding aside, 200K on a fuso if it's been maintained is not a problem at all. These trucks regularly go around 400K or more before needing an engine or transmission if they are manual. They are designed for a long life. They even have grease points on the spring pivots and shackles for instance.

This truck would actually be pretty ideal for black bear. With the short wheel base, great turning radius, good ground clearance and low gearing it’s practically designed for it.
I’d probably dump chips before the waterfall section though.

I guess you could see the edge of the switchbacks really well though. Just don't miss the brake pedal. We went down it from the top in 2017. It's something I will remember for the rest of my life.

I doubt you could replace it for much less than that: nice truck. [emoji1417][emoji1417]

How does it compare to the Isuzu NPR/ NQR/ NRR trucks?

Ya know I never paid much attention to the Izuzu’s because 4x4 is a must for me.
Other than 4 wheel drive I think they are probably quite similar.

What’s the GVWR on your Fuzzy?

It’s 14k and change. Which is why I had the custom chip box built.
All the forestry truck builders stuff was too heavy.
The box is pretty cool. It easily comes off with a piece of equipment or related and you have a flatbed with stake pockets.
