Treemo leg loop flip

This has probably been done before, but I haven't seen it so I thought I would share. I, like many others, don't like the need to step thru the leg loops of my tree motion harness. So I flipped mine and they now clip on the inside. I haven't had a chance to climb in it yet, but seems like it will work just fine. It is much easier to get on and off. Disadvantage; probably voided warranty, designed leg loop storage points now on back of inner thigh( I didn't use leg storage anyway and there is still a place on the outside of the leg to put something if you wanted to).

looks like you could use the larger opening of the side bridge rings and return it to the original position. Might mean undoing stitches and clips?

Do you mean putting the leg loops through the lower d's? I wouldn't like that.
I had to cut the stitching on the little end loops for both the leg loop adjustment and the hip/leg connection, remove the male side of the leg loop buckle and the hip/leg connection, flip leg loops, put back together and re-stitch end loops. As well as I can tell, if I cut the stitching where the two pieces of webbing in the leg loops come together, I could have removed the female side of the leg loop buckles, feed the webbing through the original spot in the lower d so the buckle was simply on the other side, and re-stitch. I didn't do that because it is life support stitching and I am not 100% confident my sewing machine or skill with settings handles the webbing properly for life support, and I don't have or know the right type of thread to use. Non-life support only for my sewing.

yeah put it through the the same ring the blue streak is tied to. believe it would still be better than the reversed leg pads?

I think it would be sloppy and I use the leg d's for my positioning lanyard and secondary bridge. It would be too much stuff to fight with in there. For me I don't see a problem with the flipped loops. I will have a chance to work in it tomorrow. If I ever have a better sewing machine or find someone I trust my life with to sew, I might want to flip them back to the normal position and just put the buckle on the other side as I previously discribed.

I've done a couple limbs on my saddle with the loops flipped and have had no problems. I thought there could be pinching from the buckles being on the inside of my legs, but there is not. 10x easier to get it on and off.

Double thumbs up! I've just spent a couple hours flipping my leg loops. It was kinda tough, but I'm super excited about not having to slide my legs thru the loops. Why isn't it designed this way? Maybe a later version will be more sensible.
