Old School

Fred is super entertaining. I first heard of his show a couple weeks ago. Pretty interesting how taking down a chimney can be so much like taking down a tree.

Here is one even more hair-raising. He climbs rickety wooden ladders up a monster 300 footer, no safety belt, nothing. Christ, I feel like a total wimp watching this old chap.

This man is amazing. I have watched his documentary. The whole time my hands were sweating just from thinking about being up there with no safetys. His chimney dropping skills are also unsurpassed.

He has many 'specials' on BBC. Interesting guy, not without his challenges.

Seems his obsession of his steam-engine thingy was sorta one-track-minded at the expense of his family or at least wife.

Sometimes the things that keep us sane are the things that make those around us insane. It is important to have balance in life. Easier said than done. I am still trying to find mine.
