Distel carbon fibre spurs

My friend in Regina had a pair. One broke so he went with aluminum. Don't know how hard he is on gear though. And I would say he eats way fewer fritters than us.
I should add that they did last through several (more than 5) years of hard climbing.

Get this combo, and never look back! https://www.treestuff.com/store/catalog.asp?category_id=228&item=394

They possess super-powers that will make woman desire you, the men folk envy you, and make it possible to wear nothing more than a thick pair of socks while standing in spurs for hours, with an 090 strapped to you!

You will now be able to show up to work severely hung over, drunk, or high every morning!

Imagine being impervious to the dangers/perils of doing such silly things as the intentional barber hair, notchless felling, or shitting oneself while aloft.

A true game changer.

Damn Rico! Are you employed by Distel? Great review and so modern with the intentional barber chair and notchless felling techniques that have recently come to light.:risas:
These are my next pair of spurs once I wear out my 3 sets of bashlins.

I do apologize for my juvenile humor, and my never ending disdain for the Climb-Right Spurs. 4-5 years ago I was forced (forgot my spurs) to use a pair of Climb Rights for 10 straight days, wreaking dead Pines in the Sierra's. That experience scarred me for life, both physically and emotionally.

I do love the DMM Gecko's, Bashlin's, and Buck Titaniums. Any of these should keep a fella happy for a very long time.

I was never crazy about the regular Distel Gecko's (Aluminum or CF). Something about the shank and stir-up shape never felt right to me?

I have been running my trusty Buck Titaniums with caddy pads lately. This combo is tough to beat. Super comfy, light as a feather, and truly bomb proof (durability is very important to me)!

As you know, the latest ain't always the greatest. Just the latest.

Good luck with your search for some new spurs Devon. If you do end up checking out the new Distel CF's, I for one would love to hear your thoughts on them.

Thanks for the feedback! I may just hold out for the Kiki Klimbers now lol! Or if the waits too long I’ll try out the titanium’s, I’ve got 2 sets of caddy pads so I can just switch them out

I have kiwi klimbers. Honestly I think I will be buying back a pair of titanium bucks with super wrap pads and steel insert.. After owning the KK's for 3 years I can honestly say buck tis are the best spurs I ever owned. Sorry I sold them twice...long story.
