Let us not forget the checkered past of a few folks who work for or produce items for treestuff. Isn’t it the same? This is on principal for me and I like the saddle so I’m biased. If I didn’t like the saddle I probably wouldn’t put so much energy into the whole dramatic scene. But I think it’s hypocritical. The pot is calling the kettle black in ethics, standards, personal behavior, and public image. So for me it’s more calling out the hypocrisy of the decision rather than standing up for Matt personally. Plus I like saddle so I’m pissed.

I dont know Matt or use his saddle.
Just gonna throw out a couple of observations here as a dispassionate former TreeStuff customer:

1. TreeStuff revolves around drama. Orders repeatedly get screwed up, products outta stock, bandaids and kisses from the head drama queen. And all is well again.

2. Punishing Matt for expressing his personal beliefs...drama. (was a crime committed here? Has anyone really been traumatized by Matt saying whatever it was he said?). He may have found his hill to die on, but Bonner in the role of executioner? Social justice warrior? Define irony.
TreeStuff could simply have a disclaimer along the lines of: "the views, beliefs, and opinions of our suppliers may differ from those we agree with or support"
