We take the loader to every job. If you can walk on the yard and not leave a mark then neither will the loader. In the second picture there was a stump in the landscape. It was cleaned up with the 7000 lb loader, see any marks? If you don't have lots of gates there is nothing better for material handling in my opinion.

We have yet to put down ground protection for the giant with the turf tires on it. It is so nice to drive through a wet yard and not worry at all about turf damage. To end this derail 3 words...zero turn radius. This is where the production speed results appear from. Over days weeks months years. Mini skids are a much better choice for residential tree work than what the salesman is pushing to become a "legend" in moving units out the door.

The relative lightness of the mini (2700 lbs to over 7000 lbs.) compared to those tanks is a negative thing? You still have to trailer it, and You likely misrepresent the equal nature of ground impact of the two different machines but to me I would have to carry a 16 oz. bottle of extra strength tylenol while I "K" turned myself into borderline insanity.....like to see the ground impact after that. :frio:

Do you have a mill that buys that? Otherwise you have to mill it yourself and find a buyer. Not much different from the firewood racket but nothing I've delved head first into.

They are different types of machines. Zero turn with any tracked machine is gonna tear up a lawn whether it's a mini skid or a stump grinder. Even if the lawn is fro

Way more money in slabs then fire wood!
This company aslways seems to have poor inventory, due to their massive demand. A lot of stuff never makes it to the inventory due to the standing orders wood workers have with them. Some high end wood workers turned me on to the market. The builder pays $1000 dollars for a slab they put onto an $8000 dresser for the customers guest room in their third home.

We are putting a kiln in at our building.

Just signed 8year lease with a furniture maker who set up in our building. Going to make a bunch of stuff with a focus on live edge slab tables.
