We take the loader to every job. If you can walk on the yard and not leave a mark then neither will the loader. In the second picture there was a stump in the landscape. It was cleaned up with the 7000 lb loader, see any marks? If you don't have lots of gates there is nothing better for material handling in my opinion.
Well said -- ThanksThe Giant maybe lifts half of what the 540 does, but it is so much more nimble. The 540 is still used for the really big stuff, but we are putting down ground protection more often than not. We have yet to put down ground protection for the giant with the turf tires on it. It is so nice to drive through a wet yard and not worry at all about turf damage. I knew the machine was going to be much more turf friendly than the 540 when purchasing, but it has really exceeded my expectations. The Giant does not replace the 540, but it does the majority of the work we do much better.

I could derail this thread further talking about that, congrats to you
The 540 could load load 2 toros in your dump trk at once![]()
They are different types of machines. Zero turn with any tracked machine is gonna tear up a lawn whether it's a mini skid or a stump grinder. Even if the lawn is froThe relative lightness of the mini (2700 lbs to over 7000 lbs.) compared to those tanks is a negative thing? You still have to trailer it, and You likely misrepresent the equal nature of ground impact of the two different machines but to me I would have to carry a 16 oz. bottle of extra strength tylenol while I "K" turned myself into borderline insanity.....like to see the ground impact after that.![]()
i've got a lucas mill.Do you have a mill that buys that? Otherwise you have to mill it yourself and find a buyer. Not much different from the firewood racket but nothing I've delved head first into.
don't know why... this one works just fine.Probably gonna need it for a new dump trailer.
Way more money in slabs then fire wood!Do you have a mill that buys that? Otherwise you have to mill it yourself and find a buyer. Not much different from the firewood racket but nothing I've delved head first into.

Any vid on that loading? Seems unlikely. Did you have 2 groundies and the homeowner standing on the back of the Dingo with you? I may have to pull out my green log chart on that one.
